AK Optics Mount – Full Length

The AK Master Mount™ optic mounts are unique and purpose built products for serious AK users. They are built as rugged as the AK rifle itself. It is machined from solid 6061 aluminum and finished with black hardcoat (type III) anodizing for superior strength, but yet be weight conscious. Made in the USA.

The optic mount’s one piece design keeps things simple and provides structural integrity. Its low profile hugs the side of the AK receiver and the dust cover to deliver a low axis over bore placement. It has a heavy-duty lever that is fully inset into the body of the optic mount to protect it from snags. It is true quick release, and it easily adjusts to different width AK side rails.

The Dual Axis Locking feature maintains optic zero by preventing any movement on the AK’s side rail during sustained shooting. Its robust struts support its “2 in 1” top rail design that can accommodate optics with either a picatinny base or an ACOG base without needing an adapter.

This AKM version which is for the “standard AK pattern” side rail (NOT a Yugo pattern factory side rail OR Century Arms™ proprietary version side rail, but will fit a Century Arms™ standard AK side rail). The AKM version optic mount comes in two styles: A “Rear Biased” top rail version and a “Full Length” top rail version.

Its top Picatinny / ACOG rail is  7 &1/4 inches long to nearly run the entire length of the dust cover.  This allows for placement of larger optics, magnifiers, or for those who need the optic placed further forward from their eye. It weighs 6.8 ounces.
